Two of my daughters wanted to get into vinyl. I love it! However, I have successfully steered them toward CDs as a start because they are more affordable, convenient, and portable (for that college life). Of course this means I am now getting back into CDs. 🤣
I’d be much more inclined to purchase new vinyl if more of them came with codes for high-quality mp3 downloads. Given the Poissonnière’s age, I’m probably a couple years from needing to issue reminders not to jump while the platter is spinning, anyway.
Yeah, I have a player, though rarely use it. I like the idea of having something physical though so I'll occasionally get vinyl for new releases, but the code is necessary.

I still rip CDs, and I’m so used to two copies. I’ve never went down the USB turntable “rip” vinyl route, and I don’t think I want to. Gimme the codes!
(Also, I really need to get my music documented in Discogs or something else. I definitely keeping coming home to find my shopping sprees containing 1-2 albums I already own. 🙂

I have no idea how I got 8 as I've never seen it, but somehow I knew y'know
