      1. I get people getting on the defensive coordinator but they are literally grabbing corners off of other teams' practice squad. What do they think would happen?

        1. In my years of Vikings fandom, I only remember having a great run defense for a few years. Even then the Patriots just decided to throw it 45 plays straight and destroyed us. That's the best I can remember.

        1. I turned it on during my lunch break. They scored to make it 17-0 and I believe ten seconds is the shortest Iโ€™ve ever listened to a sporting event.

          1. They have been so much fun. Watching everything without any expectation or hope of success has improved my experience dramatically.

              1. If they'd missed that field goal at the end, it would've been one of the Vikingest Vikings things ever.

        1. I don't have NFL Network, but stopped at my local brewery to pick up a growler for tonight. Just as the Colts were about to go for it on 4th down with about 2 minutes to go. I stayed until the end of OT.

The whole time, I and a couple other guys were laughing about how the Vikes would find a way to blow it. Incredible.

  1. With holiday tournament time approaching, there's a very light college hockey scoreboard. Bemidji State upset Minnesota State last night, and St. Thomas beat Ferris State. Both play again tonight. Those are the only Minnesota schools in action this weekend.

  2. We just finished our second power outage, this time from 3:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The sun is out, though, so this time it didn't get terribly cold inside. I hope that's the last power outage, but we'll see.

    1. Power outage number three only lasted two hours, from a quarter to three to a quarter to five. They're getting shorter, so maybe this is the last one.
