2023 Game Log 4: Minnesota Twins at Miami Marlins

It's the battle of the M's!!!

While it's not the most robust of opponents, the Twins come into Florida after sweeping the Royals in Kansas City (162-0!). Cueto is actually 5-1 against the Twins with a 2.62 ERA, so hopefully Gallo will smack a couple of dongers for us.

We'll also see our old friend Arraez, who is off to a great start this year. Definitely going to miss him, but hopefully Lopez will soften the blow. Gotta imagine that Luis prefers Florida climes to Minnesota's though. Good on him.

The Twins are so far undefeated on my game log post days (0-0), and I hope that trend continues today. Win, Twins!

    1. He threw a pitch and the catcher come out then the trainers and manager . tv hasnt mention anything after that.

  1. Joey Gallo hit a ball out of the stadium (it was foul and spun over the open roof 😆 )

  2. Mahle almost matched his Twins' pitch count highs from last year. He tossed 86 pitches in his first two starts and then 37 pitches in the next two starts. He's at 83 so far today.

    1. Trailing teams can use one any time they're down by 8 or more runs. Leading teams can only do so in the 9th and only if their lead is 10 runs or more

    2. The rule was added that the losing team has to be down by at least 8 runs to be able to bring one in.
