Duran has not been pitching well lately. In July his ERA is 6.52. Opposing batters are batting .325 against him with an OPS of .904. I don't know what the problem is, but he'd better fix it pretty soon.
He's given up 10 runs in the month, but 4 of those were on one swing.
Most of the damage was concentrated in two outings: July 2 vs the Orioles, when he gave up 2 runs on 3 hits and a walk, and July 28 vs the Royals, when he gave up 4 runs on a Manfred, two walks and Witt's GS.
Not to be too Pollyanna-ish, but I think he will be ok.
