Game 124: pirates @ twins

Mitch Keller takes on Sonny Gray.

Gray has started 5 games since he resolved to stop being the world's most annoying pitcher, and the results have been very good: 31 innings, 34 Ks, 9 BBs. 2.61 ERA, 2.39 FIP. Here's hoping he can keep it up.

Keller, for his part, pitched pretty well in his last start, but he's been getting lit up over the last month or so to the tune of a 7.71 ERA over his last six starts.

Let's keep it going.

  1. I wonder if there is a MLB legal limit onto how far you can have your jersey top unbuttoned. Sonny has got to be at that limit

  2. I had no idea not sliding at second base while the defender is turning a double play could be called interference

    1. I know he didn't review it personally, but somehow this is still Laz Diaz being incompetent.

      1. Dick is an excellent play by play guy. He's sooooo much better without an old school dick like Bert.

  3. So, Sonny gets backed up by the rump of the bullpen to not unforeseeable result. And way too much decorating the bases.
