Also predicting a Wolves win tonight on their way to a playoff berth.

Let's do this. COOOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY BREEEEEEEEEEEWER!!!!
Kevin Love rebounds passes to Rubio, Pek makes a bucket. I love it
By the end of this first quarter, Love might lead the league in rebounding.
Papa Glen wearing a suit tonight and not a Cosby sweater like most other nights.
It was tough for this Wolves team to lose the Steamer, but I think they're going to be juuuuuuust fine.
So not a bad start to the season.
I think it's safe to say we'll score at least 38 points in every quarter for the rest of the season.
Good Lord it's gonna be fun.
Hopefully the defense holds them to under 38 every quarter too.
We'll really only need to do that once per game, right?
I like convincing wins.
JJ Barea-Corey Brewer lineup could lead to lots of chaos. that should be fun.
John Lackey has a great curveball working tonight.
Poor Turiaf. There went his best shot at scoring this year.
it's as important for pitchers to pitch well as it is for hitters to hit well, eh? thanks, tim madden.
I would argue it's more important, since hitters have to field, too. 😛
Fox, we don't need to see every swinging strike from five different camera angles. Especially the one embedded somewhere in the field.
I hate the Sod cam. That angle doesn't do anything for me.
So, good Barrea tonight.
Don't tell Hitman.
Here is another theory on why World Series ratings are down. They compete with with leagues, local teams. I love baseball, I like the Wolves too. I am splitting time between the two, and more on the Wolves because they are my local team.
And one! It's good to see Turbo's learned how to make those.
runner on base, you gotta give Ortiz the Barry Bonds treatment.
Wolves have gone bone dry.
I blame Ridnour Brewer.
I blame RidnourBrewer Casilla.
Wacha Wacha oh ohh
World Series is basically over. I can shift my attention fully to the Wolves now.
hell of a play by Dante!
Cunningham!
Whoa, DC.
It's a "Clog the bases" sighting...errr...listening!
Pedroia error!
it was the grittiest error ever in a World Series game
Not sure I see a loss on the Wolves' schedule, guys.
[too soon]
Okay, now the WS is officially over.
If Brewer is going to cherrypick he should at least, you know, pick the cherries.
Alright, so maybe my statement about Turbo figuring out how to make those was premature.
Huh. News ticker says Iverson announces his retirement.
Wow, nifty play by Love.
what happened to the 17 point lead?
A MADE CORNER THREE
OMG
The Cards are going to need a dozen or so obstruction calls if they're going to win this game.
congrats to our Boston overlords

It's raining threes, in both games, and not in a good way.
I forgot that Bobby Jackson is now part of the Wolves coaching staff. Looking dapper in the second row
I was similarly surprised to see Quincy Lewis at the half.
I would be so happy if Bobby Jackson got to wear his high socks outside his suit.
For which team is Shved playing?
He's certainly not making me look super smart.
Mrs. Runner: "Is it wrong to hate David Ortiz? He's on base ALL THE TIME."
so the band Jackyl is still around. Ok then.
Still playing RAWK MUSIC with chainsaws?
This feels too much like a Wolves game.
They just can't take "blowout" for an answer.
If the Sox with this, I think that instead of the traditional champagne celebration in the clubhouse, they should all go after each other with razors instead.
Straight razors?
Some of them might need machetes. Buchholz, on the other hand, probably needs his face bathed in acid.
Maybe they can spare some acid for my eyes after watching the end of this Wolves game.
Wait, Love just nailed a three to tie it- I might not need it!
I really missed watching Barea Hero Ball.
Always a good idea when Love is killing it.
And whiny Love staring at the refs.
why cant the Wolves ever have nice things?
It's just the way of things.
That was a hilariously inept possession.
That. Was. Terrible.
Maybe I need to add a WOLVES BASKETBALL shortcode...
WOLVES BASKETBALL!!!!!
WOLVES BASKET BASEBALL!!!!!
That is tremendous.
Close enough!
Looks like Sean made the change.
Love!
That play looked kind of familiar.
Bonus Wolves Basket Baseball!!!
Free basketball!
When did they get rid of sudden death overtime for basketball?
When Pek entered the league.
Have they started WS MVP voting yet?
I'm voting for Allen Craig, because I love it when the losing team gets MVP.
But Fangraphs tells me it's 99% certain that it's David Ortiz.
That seems like an underestimate.
Well, 99% certain tonight.
And I don't think they use more precision than single %s, so maybe 99.2% tonight, 0.4% tomorrow?
Down to 97% tonight, 1.5% tomorrow.
wouldnt the Boston guys vote for the guy who got picked off base and basically won the Series for the Sox?
MONSTER JAM!!!
Mr. Excitement Corey Brewer!
No shutout!
Lackey hits the wall.
CIRCUS SHOT!!!
PEKASAURUS!!!
Boston should put in Uehara for the 5-run, 7-out save.
This is about as high leverage as it's gonna get.
Worst. Blocking call. Ever.
what an absolutely horseapple foul call on Love.
the MLS Playoffs start tonight?
I'll have to pick a team I guess.
One and Oh!
On pace for 82-0!
That was supposed to be in response to sean above. It's not happening in this baseball game.
Tim McCarver's on the TV. I have the sound off.
I'm still of the opinion that the problem in the Duo is Buck. McCarver is never pushed for more, different insight, whatever.
Jon Miller could do well with him. But hell, I thought Jon Miller did well with Joe Morgan.
Cripes, just pitch to Ortiz. It's not like he's got any chance to change the game outcome here.
Beltran on Deck.
My Sixers beat the Heat. It's all downhill from here.
I think this was a hilarious outcome, but it's bad start for the tank.
I forgot the Red Sox were in last place last year. While it's nice the 1991 Twins will be mentioned prominently for a while, it sucks that they aren't the only worst-to-first team anymore.
but, in the Twins day there were only 4 total divisions and 1990 the Twins had the 4th worst record (Atlanta was the worst). Last year Boston had the 5th worst record, including 3 more than the Twins and 14 (!!) more than Houston.
TK never liked the "worst-to-first" thing. He said, "We finished last. We weren't the worst."
