My elder daughter is saying she hopes it snows here this year.

I think my lack of water intake over the last few years may be contributing to my desire to leave. Damn dry climate.

Okay, back to The Simpsons as late-night comfort TV for a while.

Last night was another of our yearly game nights at Luke Air Force Base. I can't tell you how much I dig doing this event. The flyboys are just so appreciative.

I have a lead on a promotion in Minnesota, but the store in question is horrible at getting back to me despite needing someone with my exact skill set. It's kind of amusing watching them fumble about, but it doesn't make me eager to work there.

I still don't really like them.

Beer spilled on the laptop. So far, seems like the comp is in trouble.

Between my cousin's crash and the job interview yesterday, it's been a stressful couple of days, but my cousin seems to be fine and the interview went well, so I guess I'll try to keep calm for a bit.

Yesterday, a text-and-driver almost killed my cousin (and may have, in the end. We think she'll make it but it's not yet a sure thing). My cousin has two broken legs, and the head injury is being assessed.

Ugh.

I just heard this song and I think it'll be stuck in my head for the rest of my life.
