I lost a co-worker to suicide. Sat here for a while after that sentence, and this is all I came up with.

Schools across the state are closed today. Of course, they didn't announce it around here until after I got the Trinket up to start getting ready. She was pretty upset about it, which is both good that she likes going and bad that she gets really upset about something out of my control.

Humorously, though, the local news keeps telling us how terrible it is out there but showing video of traffic moving as normal...

I guess I just noticed that yesterday was Friday the 13th. Well, it doesn't seem like any of us got bad news. I hope.

My speakers arrived today. They're glorious. Unfortunately, I can't use them until my receiver arrives. Damn wiener logistics.

Gonna be a lot of folks working from home here on Friday and keeping to themselves over the weekend.

I remember how to drive in the snow, but I haven't really driven in it since 2008 and the last real terrible winter I drove in was late 2006. If you're crossing an intersection on foot and you see me in a car, maybe wait for me to come to a complete stop before you start walking.
