The “Cup of Coffee” is the daily post where the Citizens are free to chat about whatever they want. Topics that prove sufficiently popular often migrate to their own, dedicated post.
February 6, 2024: Bang Zoom Straight To The Moon
I'm hearing that I'm going to be moved to another division. I don't know the specifics, but it will involve targeting space exploration companies. That sounds pretty cool to me at least.
February 5, 2024: Finchy
Great job, Coach of the Western Conference.
February 4, 2024: Away Team
I've been keeping an eye on Twolves tickets for when they come to town this week. I was hoping to sneak away and pick up a cheap single ticket as the Bulls are not great this year. However the wife is working late so that means I'd need to bring the younguns with me, which increases the price significantly.
February 3, 2024: Ingenious
Pour one out for a real one. Hell of a mission, Ingenuity.
February 2, 2024: Died Tragically Rescuing His Family From The Wreckage Of A Destroyed Sinking Battleship

I don't know if anyone was following this whole Elmo thing on Twitter, but I think it's absolutely hilarious. That is one thing I love about the Tweeter: how one small, well meaning thing (or otherwise) can explode into a beehive of chaos. I'm not out there being crazy on Main so I'm not worried about becoming the Main Character, but it's just such an interesting phenomenon.
January 31, 2024: Radio Silence
Power went out yesterday and, since it was daytime, I wasn’t sure if it was everyone’s house or just mine. I stumbled on an answer to that question I wouldn’t have thought of: check the wi-fi networks in range. Tumbleweeds.
January 30, 2024: Tech Crunch
We're getting a new set of computers at work which is always annoying to me because it takes a couple hours at least to customize a new one in a way that works for me. That's also why I take the IT team's advice of shutting them down and unplugging them each night so I don't kill the battery and have to start all over again.
January 29, 2024: Red On Red
Well, that's not how I wanted the conference championship weekend to go.
