Yesterday, four(!) separate girls at work told me that the way I walk is hot. I mentioned it to my wife, who immediately agreed. Now the swagger's going to be even worse.

The Twins can't make the playoffs (officially, not just obviously). Time to sink your sportsviewing efforts into the Diamondbacks (who will also miss the playoffs) or Chelsea FC. Or...the Vikings, I guess.

It's a bummer to not care about the Twins very much when they're about to be gone for six months, but we've got a potentially memorable Wolves season coming up in six weeks. I'll hang my hat on that.

I'm starting to wonder if the Yankees will end up as the first-ever winners of the second AL Wild Card, just as they were the first-ever winners of the AL Wild Card. I guess if the playoffs were expanded to guarantee their inclusion, it's been a success...
