I was listening to a live recording of a podcast in my car and I noticed there was a weird feedback whine in the background. I thought, huh, you'd think the production team would've taken care of that. Eventually I wondered if it was closer to home, so I turned down the volume and realized it seemed to be coming from the air vents on the passenger side. Annoyed, my mind started considering possible fixes and/or estimated mechanic fees. However, shortly after, a potential solution presented itself: I gave that side of the dash a good whack. So far, so good. EEEEEeeeeee!

I was wondering when that snow guy was going to show up this winter.

It looks like La Tortuga is movin' on over (on up?) to the Yomiuri Giants. They must have been scouting Jeff A's updates.

Obviously I love Naz Reid. I like the nickname "Big Jelly" a whole lot less.

I'm a part of an airline's mileage club, and they also give you points if you dine at select restaurants. Normally I ignore the emails I get encouraging me to use the program more, but I gotta admit, they got my attention this time:

A kid out there supposedly beat/broke Tetris the other day (something not achieved by a human before). I've played similar games for a period of time, and you can't stop sensing that motion in front of your eyes for awhile. I wonder how long it was before the world stopped moving, or since he's a competitive player, does it ever?

I occasionally utilize a VPN to access content not allowed in this country. It's always amusing when I remember it's on because I get a whole new weird slew of ads in a foreign language on other sites.

Without explaining it, I got a daily Far Side calendar for a family that's unfamiliar with it. I'm interested to see the reviews.

I'd like to think this year will be better, but the Magic 8 ball hasn't been giving me much reassurance.
