Some interesting names who were not major league players on the list today, including an early broadcaster (McDonald), an author (Ritter), a college baseball coach (Bertman), and a college basketball coach who played minor league baseball (Penders).  However, there do not appear to be any major league players with connections to the Minnesota Twins born on this day.

You Are Invited

If nothing unexpected happens between now and then, I, Jeff A, will be ordained as an elder in full connection to the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church on Friday, June 8, 2012.  The ordination ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 401 S. Spring Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.  I know Sioux Falls is a long way from, well, pretty much everybody here, but if anyone should be so motivated as to attend, you would be welcome.
