ST. PAUL SAINTS 5, IOWA CUBS 4 IN IOWA

Homers by Jair Camargo and Patrick Winkel in the sixth inning gave St. Paul a 4-3 lead.  Camargo homered again in the eighth to make it 5-3.  Iowa scored in the ninth and had the tying run on base at the end of the game.

Multi-hit games:  Camargo was 2-for-4 with two home runs.  Winkel was 2-for-4 with a home run.  DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Peyton Wilson hit a three-run homer in the eighth to put Northwest Arkansas ahead 4-0.  Wichita scored three in the ninth and had the tying run on third at the end of the game.

Trailing 3-0, Cedar Rapids scored four in the bottom of the ninth.  Kevin Maitan hit a two-run homer, Misael Urbina tied it with an RBI double, and Jose Salas singled home the winning run.

Ouch! Twins got spanked yesterday out in Queens, which is disappointing after taking two of three from both the Phillies and Tigers. Guardians have been scuffling along as well but Twins haven't been able to take advantage. I'm sure however by the end of today's trading deadline some reinforcements will be brought to the clubhouse. WAIT WAIT is that Rodney Dobnak's music I'm hearing.... Cue up the parade route Governor Flanagan, looks like the Twins added a playoff-seasoned veteran.

David Festa for the Twins tonight and while he's shown some ability in the minors, he's had a tough time up at the bigs. Hopefully it's just a matter of time as the Twins could use a decent performance tonight. Sean Manaea for the Mets and he has beautiful hair.
