Chris Colabello was recalled from Rochester, then options him back to Rochester the next day.

Trevor Plouffe was sent to Rochester on a rehab assignment.

Where They Stand

Rochester is 30-36, fifth in the International League North, eight games behind Pawtucket.  The Red Wings have lost two consecutive games and are 6-4 in their last ten games.

New Britain is 31-34, fifth in the Eastern League Eastern, nine games behind Binghamton.  The Rock Cats have lost two consecutive games and are 6-4 in their last ten games.

Fort Myers is 43-20, first in the Florida State League South, ten games ahead of St. Lucie, and has clinched the first-half title.  The Miracle has won its last two games and is 5-5 in their last ten games.

Cedar Rapids is 40-24, first in the Midwest League Western, a half game ahead of Beloit.  The Kernels won their most recent game and are 5-5 in their last ten games.

The DSL Twins are 4-5, tied for fifth in the Boca Chica Baseball City, 1.5 games behind the DSL Diamondbacks and the DSL Orioles1.  The DSL Twins have won their last two games.

 

Players of the Week

Rochester:  Deibinson Romero was 12-for-27 with a double and three home runs.  For the season, he is hitting .308/.378/.523 in 65 at-bats.  Kyle Gibson was 2-0, 1.38, 1.38 WHIP with 10 strikeouts in 13 innings.  For the season, he is 6-5, 3.16, 1.17 WHIP with 69 strikeouts in 79.2 innings.

New Britain:  Reynaldo Rodriguez was 7-for-17 with three doubles, a home run, and six walks.  For the season, he is hitting .232./.332/.464 in 168 at-bats.

Fort Myers:  Matt Koch was 8-for-18 with two doubles and a home run.  For the season, he is hitting .305/.383/.429 in 154 at-bats.

Cedar Rapids:  Byron Buxton was 9-for-21 with two doubles and two triples.  For the season, he is hitting .342/.439/.562 in 219 at-bats.

DSL Twins:  Dubal Baez was 6-for-18 with a double, a triple, five walks, and three stolen bases.  Joel Ramirez was 6-for-15 with a double and six stolen bases.
