    1. I'm gonna live forever!!!!111one11111!!

actually, the experiment basically describes drinking Light/Lite beer.

    1. His only point didn't even come from getting fouled on a shot. He shot a technical for his only point of the game.

  1. I have the place to myself this weekend, so maybe it's a good time to record a "Pepper!" episode of WGOM Radio? Who would be free Saturday afternoon to be a panelist? I'm looking for 4 or 5 people ideally. First come, first serve. Sign up here and I'll email you later for planning purposes.

    1. I work the late shift Saturday (I start at 5), so that would work for me. Are we going to do an intro episode, or is the intro implied? Or might we just tack it on to the beginning of that one?

      1. I was thinking of your suggestion of putting more content into the first pod, so we could do our general introduction, then segue into the Pepper! So if you want, we can get together and record the intro like 20 minutes early or if you want to just record stuff on your own so you can freestyle a bit more and send it and I can mix it.

        1. Sounds great to me. It would probably be easiest to just talk a bit about the intro and then record it - much easier than having us freestyle and mix.

  2. Trying to plan out some of our Disney World trip; I'm sad to remember that the West Side Stage at Downtown Disney is no more (saw Yellowjackets there, among others), but hopefully their House of Blues has someone good during the time we're there.

  3. Mike Max is filling in from 3-6 this afternoon on WCCO radio and says he will be giving away a lot of Timberwolves tickets.

    1. I'm actually really happy that Kahn refused to give Love the max. Now he's free to sign Pekovic to that 5-year deal!

  4. Dr. Chop is headed to New Orleans tomorrow. The prospective job represents a lateral move, with a few added bonuses, but the location would be a definite upgrade. The next several weeks are going to be tense around the slaughterhouse.

      1. Well, they'll be more pork posts to come regardless of where we live, but having access to freshly prepared emulsified and fermented sausages would be nice. /drool

        1. Andouille can't wait to read the sausage posts, meat. Also, if you do move to Nawlins make sure you get a place with a guest room. I prefer down pillows to foam.

          1. Funny, my folks recently said something to me about the possibility of more people visiting us if we lived in a different local. All this time I thought it was my bad breath.

            1. I'm sure you're fully prepared to gain about 25 pounds from all that delicious food. Sheenie and I booked our flight down there for St. Patrick's Day. It's basically Mardi Gras all over again (parades and partying) without tourists. If you'll be around there that weekend, let me know.

              1. I'm planning on being there that weekend for the southern graphics print conference. I smell a mini caucus, and that indescribable bourbon street stank.

                1. Fantastic. One of the parades goes directly in front of Sheenie's house, so I can get you the details to join the party if you want to come.

  5. Just got the WGOM Promises banner. It's got a live-action South Park feel to the graphic. I love Pek's hair.

  6. Wow, Steve Aschburner just nails it with the K-Love deal. Here is one of many very good points:

If this were Boston, Chicago, the Lakers or even the Thunder — teams with track records of postseason ambitions and front offices nimble enough to achieve them — locking in for five might be OK. But the Timberwolves need to have their paws held to the fire to make sure they stay on task and this is one way to do it. While Love is giving up some long-term financial security, he’s gaining more control over his competitive future.

  7. Crictastic moment in sports history. Ricky Ponting gets to 13 clicks, and the two people who are above him in runs in Test history are in the same game , Tendulkar and Dravid.

    1. This is going to be so glorious. I hope there are a lot of bunts down the third base line when the Twins play Detroit.

  8. For those wondering, yes I got busy and forgot about Pixel Perfect Memories. You should see it Monday unless I forget again.
