CULIACAN 9, GUASAVE 1 IN CULIACAN

TwinsChris Colabello (Guasave) was 0-for-3 with a sacrifice fly.

Game summary:  Culiacan scored three in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie and got five in the fifth to take command.

Guasave:  Luis De La O worked 3.1 scoreless innings, giving up four hits and three walks.  Ivan Araujo was 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Culiacan:  Alejandro Armenta pitched eight innings, allowing one run on six hits and no walks.  Ricardo Serrano was 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a three-run homer for a total of seven RBIs.

HERMOSILLO 12, NAVOJOA 4 IN NAVOJOA

TwinsGonzalo Sanudo (Navojoa) surrendered five runs on three hits and two walks in one-third of an inning.

Game summary:  Hermosillo led 4-0 after three, then scored six times in the fifth to put the game away.

Hermosillo:  Garrett Mock struck out seven in six innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk.  Jesse Gutierrez was 3-for-5 with a two-run homer.

Navojoa:  Ben Broussard was 2-for-3 with a home run.  Jose Chavez was 2-for-4 with a double and scored once.

MAZATLAN 5, MEXICALI 4 IN MAZATLAN

Game summary:  Oswaldo Morejon hit a two-out two-run double in the eighth to break a 3-3 tie.  Mexicali scored one in the ninth and had the tying run on second base with none out.

Mexicali:  Michel Abreu was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.  Rodolfo Aguirre pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and one walk.

Mazatlan:  Ryan Hinson allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks in 6.1 innings.  Humberto Sosa was 2-for-3 with a home run and two walks.

OBREGON 12, LOS MOCHIS 3 IN OBREGON

Game summary:  Obregon scored three in the third to take a 4-3 lead and five in the fourth to take control.

Los Mochis:  Sergio Perez was 2-for-4 and scored once.  Sandy Madera hit a home run.

Obregon:  Alfredo Amezaga was 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs.  Agustin Murillo was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk, scoring three times and driving in three.
