Nick Punto is yet a former Twin, right?
Oops. Don't know what I was thinking there. My subconscious does some really strange things sometimes.
I now see that what I had intended to do was put Drew Butera's stats there, but for some reason went to Nick Punto. Maybe it's because I do these things really early in the morning and I wasn't quite awake yet. Anyway, I've fixed it now.
If only Butera would hit like Punto!
Butters only batting-averaged .188, but slugged .438. Isolated power of .250!
Watching Rosario play was pretty rough. It was obvious he was overmatched.
I wonder if the Twins encourage players to play in the WBC. The Twins lead all teams in number of players in the WBC with 14 out of a maximum 15.
Heh. Rosario == "overmatched". Butters was worse, but expected.
Butera wasn't there when I posted. However, I would classify Butera's performance as "status quo".
Oh, I knew that. Nonetheless, my comment holds. π
Does Italy have a pro league? Maybe we could trade Butters for some cannoli.
Deduderino's performance really sticks out like a sore thumb among the pitchers.
Maybe the other Twins pitchers had sore thumbs.
