  1. Rochester, Chattanooga and Cedar Rapids all continue to lead their respective leagues in K/9 rate in pitching. New times are coming for the Twins' pitching staff.

  2. That's a pretty nice looking line from Buxton.

    Also, I hope Sano's line is more due to coming back from injury than anything else. (I expect it is.)

    1. He's headed in the right direction, anyway. He hit a low of .150 on April 29. He's still drawing a good number of walks and he's still hitting for power. Nothing I read indicates that the Twins are particularly concerned at this point.

  3. With Rosario's numbers, I wonder why mgmt. decided to bring him up instead of Hicks? Extra infield help?

    1. My theory, which I said at the time, is that when/if they bring Hicks up again, they want it to be permanent, where they're more comfortable just bringing Rosario up for a couple of weeks and sending him back down again. That's just a guess, though.
