3. It's been a long time since I've posted, so hello!

4. I got a call back from my interview last week. They hired someone else for the position (boo!) but they sent me the job description of a new position just created that they haven't posted to the public yet (yay! [?]) This is a good(ish) thing, yes?

5. On the plus side, it's been 9 years since the good Dr. and I got hitched.

   On the negative side, I was passed over today for promotion citing 'a combination a really shitty timing and circumstances way beyond my control'. I now have to train my new boss. I now have to deal with the fact that they promoted my shitheadded colleagues in order to hire a good candidate (and good friend).

   On the plus side, I'm going out to an expensive dinner with my partner in crime, and tomorrow I start looking for new work.
