    1. Did it really happen that way? I saw that in the box score, but assumed it was just an error in the box score. I don't think it's allowed to give a save to someone who didn't finish the game.

      1. You are right on that. Though there was a boxscore in a Rays game earlier this year where the closer was listed first, because he did come in first, then moved to third base for a LOOGY to come in, then moved back in to close the game.

  1. So I've been getting Kiss My Face Moisture Shave shaving cream (3.4 Fl Oz) for a long time, sometimes fragrance free, sometimes with stuff. My current tube was getting low, so last time at the store, I see that they no longer carry the 3.4oz tube, but now only carry the 11oz pump version of their product. They don't make the tube anymore.

I travel and carry stuff to my club in a travel toiletry bag. A pump shaving cream container would be a big mess. KMF Product Team fial!

    1. I just recently bought a can of shaving cream for the first time in about five years. If you really want to stick it to em, you'll have to grow a beard.

        1. I've got the Philips Norelco OneBlade electroc razor and like it a lot. Between that and the Shave Cream I use (some sort of Neutrogena stuff), I've had a nice, close shave without razor burn for about a year now.

Now, if only i could get out of bed an extra ten minutes earlier to actually DO IT every day.

        2. I’ve tried electrics but get terrible bumps and ingrown whiskers everywhere below the jawline. Not for me, but I appreciate the convenience factor.

  2. When I was a kid, there were a lot of small farmers on the Hubbard Prairie. Corn, soybeans, windbreaks and snow-fences to stop the drifting.

Later, the potato people bought up a lot of the land, Monico & Offutt from Fargo/Grand Forks. And the windbreaks disappeared and the snow-fences went away.

For local citizens, who for years have been urging the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to consider the wider impact of expanding row crops and irrigation in a region prized for its forests and clean lakes, it’s a small victory. For R.D. Offutt, a major supplier for McDonald’s French fries, the decision seems to be targeted regulation that will force it to take its business out of state, according to an angry letter the company sent the DNR.

Here's a map of the changes:

See that Long Lake south of P.R? That's where I grew up.
