      1. our full front door window was blown in (but didn’t break), likely because it was because it was being held by tape because apparently the weird plastic strips that keep it in place are brand specific so your local big box doesn’t carry any.

    1. My kids spent last night at Grandma & Grandpa's while Philosofette tried to get over being sick. Despite the fact that they live just 1 mile out of town on a state highway, I was unable to go pick them until 7 this evening. And when I did go, I got stuck in a 100 ft long snow drift. Digging out on a major road is a weird experience. At least I stayed on the road, unlike the car I passed at the other end of the drift... My father-in-law drove his skid steer down the road and cleared out a path so I could make it home with the kids. Some insane drifts here on the prairie.

  1. This is the second consecutive week we've not had our worship service in Onida, and the third we've missed in Agar. It's not snowing today, but 30-40 mph winds are causing ground blizzards. No travel advised for much of the state.

  2. Dan Hayes of The Athletic is winning the Spring for most entertaining PBP of meaningless games.
