  1. Y'all should try out this zoom talking pictures thing. Those dudes are funny (looking)(.... winks).

  2. Late last night we got a text that (finally) after a few months of hunting and heartache, Runner daughter's offer on a townhouse was accepted.

  3. Quick heads-up. I'm trying to sell some Steelers season tickets if anyone is interested. It's about $17k for the tickets and PSLs together. Let me know!

      1. I was on a call this morning and opened up LinkedIn for the first time in forever to look someone up. Apparently there's some sort of FB like news feed and it was full of now-I'm-done-with-baseball-too-because-kneeling comments (the industry I used to work in is located almost exclusively in the South). Not sure what that has to do with business but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

          Personal brandname development.

        2. I had a LinkedIn contact that would constantly call these people out on LinkedIn. I finally had to DM him that each time he commented on this stuff it pulled it into his contacts' timelines and he was unwittingly sharing it himself.

          1. Yeah, people commenting on threads is why it was showing up. Also, I don't care because I never use it, but why on LI? Why not keep that to a cesspool like FB where it belongs!

  4. Now a Phillies coach and clubhouse attendant have tested positive for COVID-19, really great decision to let the Marlins players decide whether to play.

    1. I'm not going to say I predicted it, but the question I'd been asking all along was "what happens to the season when the first team suddenly finds they have an outbreak?" I guess the move to postpone some games right away have limited the spread to other teams, but it's bows and arrows against the lightning.

  5. What's the ruling on the new powder blues? I think they're a nice enhancement on the 80's unis, although maybe the accenting (belts, accoutrements) would be better served in dark blue instead of red.

Also, not the best strike calling by blue last night...

      1. They're approximately 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000eleventy,000,000 times better than the standard home uniform. The old cream pinstripes at home with these new powder blues on the road would be a fantastic combo that makes no historical sense as a pairing.

        1. I do like the grey pinstripe "MINNESOTA" road unis too, though, but the button-down instead of pullover and belts instead of elastic were a huge improvement over the old ones. And the dark beards really make the color snap.

    1. Personally, I'm not a fan. Didn't like them when I was younger, don't like them now. I much prefer the cream alternates.

      1. I think I fall in the middle. I love the idea of baby blues, but I supposed I've only seen it as a top (which is a gorgeous looking uni, should you happen to have one). Seeing the full uniform somehow didn't land for me though, and I can't pinpoint why. Maybe R_R's accenting suggestion?

Joining the chorus on loving the Creams, and joining the resistance in coming around on the Red and Kasota Gold.

    2. I love them. I bought one for myself at the Target field when I stopped by last weekend.

    3. I loved them. Judd Zulgad of SKOR North tweeted out last night that they are currently the best jerseys in the Twin Cities market and I agree.
Although if the Twins had the cream jerseys they would be the top of the list.
