Ten years ago today WGOM met for the Twins/Royals game at Kauffman; I wonder how that team would stand up against this season's juggernaut?
Goodness that seems so long ago yet also it surely can't be 10 yrs already
We decided to have a date night last night, so I talked Mrs. Twayn into going to BWW for dinner and the Twins game. Those are some tasty burgers, and a tall boy of Goose Island Wild Herd was only 3 bucks. But we ended up watching more of Les Habs than Los Twins. That first inning was like watching a circus tent collapse and burn.
Minor Details has been posted, featuring some fine Saints pitching.
I think this will be appreciated here: I signed Mark Prior in the Antiquity League and he immediately got injured for the season.

The Lady Byng is a funny award because ... who cares who the most gentlemanly NHL player is?
But hey look - a Wild player is a finalist!

The @NHL announced #mnwild defenseman Jared Spurgeon is a finalist for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.
He went to the Air Force Academy, so he should be prepared for a crash landing.
But hey, he’ll be getting a massive uniform upgrade even if he wears the Kool-Aid Man alternates…
Just power washed the cars and roasted like a toasted cheeser.
I'm hoping Mrs Runner forgot that we were washing the windows today..
But it's a dry heat. Humidity is around 28% and the dewpoint is at 59 degrees so it only adds one or two degrees to the heat index. Still, only mad dogs and Englishmen.
The heat was better with an ocean next to me.
My youngest sister is up in Bismarck for a month. They had snow and a 105° F high her first week in town.
