Oh mama. Yeah, the delta is in the delta in a big way.
With our Israel trip postponed and with fewer and fewer of my relatives still in Omaha, we're now talking about another Thanksgiving drive to NOLA. If so, I'll happily serve as a meat mule again.
Picked up three hardbacks at the book fair this morning. I did an informal visual survey and maybe ~70% were wearing masks. Better than I was anticipating
Literate crowd helps.
I just saw the video of Sano's game ending play on the bunt from last night and it was a dandy. Our luck in extra innings seems to be improving a bit.
I am doing great. I’ve had my very own “It’s a wonderful life” week of people insisting I make the world slightly better. Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable!
Lots of precious metal in that family; cool to see her add to it.
That said, it bothers me that the horses don’t get their own medals.
Took kayaks out on the lake today. First time with the inflatable, but we had practiced inflation/deflation in the basement beforehand so it went smoothly.
Between that and buying/actually using a bike rack for the car, we might be inching our way toward "outdoorsy".
Just got back from the hospital. My wife was a surrogate for the second time, and we went in for her scheduled induction on Thursday night. Baby was born on Friday afternoon, and now everyone is back home healthy.
