I’ve gotten to the point where I type out a real word but it looks like it’s not a word……
I would have had it in two but somehow my brain didn’t register the correct response as an actual word.
You are not alone with that. When I get down to only a few options left, and I’m working my way through the possible letters that are left, I often skip over real words because I’ve pronounced them so incorrectly in my head that I don’t think it’s a word.
That happened to me with movie a couple weeks ago. I was going through the possibilities.

Interesting in that we create and think of words on how we "hear" them. We file words in our brain based how they sound first, what they look like second.
Has anyone played anti-wordle yet? Try not to guess the word and see how many chances it takes. Yesterday I got 6, today 4 and easily could have gone to 5.
I haven't played that, but I have played Absurdle, which is an antagonistic version. It's entertaining in a certain kind of way, though I don't play it often.

I knew what ballpark I needed to be in. Took me four guesses.
Sometimes i feel great when I get the word and other times i feel empty and dissatisfied. Today was the latter. Maybe I shouldn't start my days with wordle.
