  1. On this day in 1994, the Twins scored 21 runs, defeating Detroit 21-7. On this day in 2002, the Twins scored 23 runs, defeating Cleveland 23-2.

I somehow think the Twins will score fewer runs than that today.

    1. Both teams combined won't score that over a four-game series. They've each tallied ten runs in three plus games.

  2. its a shame Ryan will have 2 runs attached to his boxscore. He pitched a whale of a game

  3. Again, have the bag extend into foul territory. Literally no reason not to do this.

      1. He serves no purpose on the roster other than to give the opposing teams right infield some practice and to not play in Toronto.

          1. Of course, how could I forget.

Man, I can't think of a player I soured on so suddenly as Kepler. In a way, I'm glad he's a dingbat, makes it easier to want him gone when he sucks.

  4. The Twins struck out sixteen times, adding to their league-leading total in striking out. I know the analytics supposedly say that striking out is no big deal, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find very many teams that won the world series while leading the league in striking out.
