I really want to like Jax. I keep hearing from the talking heads how good his stuff is. But what I keep seeing is a parade of baserunners from failure to execute on pitches in high leverage counts.
He strikes me as good, not great. 3.50-ish ERA guys don’t grow on trees, but they are gonna have some bad days, for sure.
