  1. Aguilas scored four in the ninth to defeat Estrellas 7-6 yesterday. Vidal Brujan was 2-for-2 with a double. Fernando Tatis, Jr. was 2-for-4 with a triple. Dairon Blanco was 2-for-5. Jurickson Profar hit a home run, his second. Andy Otero started and pitched five shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out three. The loss went to Neftali Feliz (1-1), who allowed four runs on two hits and three walks in two-thirds of an inning, striking out one.

La Guaira scored all of their runs in the second, but it was enough as they blanked Caribes 5-0. Willians Astudillo was 0-for-4. Caribes only had two hits. Starter Edgar Escobar took the loss, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks in 1.2 innings while striking out two.

  2. Just heard from someone in the know that the Twins let Rob Antony go. I'm sure it is ballysports' fault.

    1. I'm surprised he lasted this long under Falvine. I don't think he was necessarily an "Analytics guy."

        1. I'm pretty okay with the North Star flag, but it reminds me of this guy:

    2. I am ok with his pick and solidly in agreement with the awfulness of wavy and the corporate dullness of the other.

    3. What about the seal? The motto is no longer on it.
