Apparently the boys had a rough go of touring the second time around in Sweden. According to Noel, it was due to exhaustion, boredom, and the biggest problem: no drugs, man.

While doing a little research on this, I also found out that Jack Pearson, another Minnesota musician, passed away in April. I bet you a googleplex that some around here are familiar with him.

33 years ago yesterday, a scrappy little kid from Chicago made his major league debut. Got 4 hits. I think he'll work out.
