2023 Game 45: Twins at LAAAAAngels

Tonight the Twins continue their L.A. trip, starting a series against the Angels. They'll get to face Ohtani on Sunday, so hopefully they can pick up a few at the start of the series. They looked good against the Dodgers, even though the results didn't work out the right way.

Tonight Joe Ryan, who is good, pitches against Reid Detmers, who hasn't been as good. So that's promising.

Friday Music Day: The 90’s

The Current just wrapped up their list of the top 893 songs of the 90's.

So it seemed an opportune time to ask for everyone else's top 10 song sof the '90's.

Their top 10:
10. Fade Into You - Mazzy Star
9. Criminal - Fiona Apple
8. Losing My Religion - REM
7. Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
6. Everlong - Foo Fighters
5. Zombie - The Cranberries
4. Loser - Beck
3. Sabotage - Beastie Boys
2. You Oughta Know - Alanis Morissette
1. Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

2023 Game 33: Twins at Guardians

I think it's fair to say that the White Sox series had mixed results. The pitching was good, the bats were ass. Tonight the Twins travel to Cleveland to start a key early-season series. Already up 3.5 games on Cleveland, the Twins could really start to pad that with some head-to-head victories, or let it slide with some loses.

Bailey Ober starts tonight against rookie Peyton Battenfield. Which is a horrible name for a pitcher. Honestly.

Game 27: KC at MN – Friday Day Baseball?

Apparently they play baseball during the afternoon now? 3:10 happy hour start.

Honestly, if I were in Minneapolis, with fewer children and more money, this would be pretty sweet, and there's a good chance I'd head over to the game. I guess poor people who live far away aren't the Twins' target market?

Also, there's a rain delay already. When that's done Pablo Lopez will try to get back to being the ace we signed, not the dud who debuted after signing.

2023 Game 7: Astros at Twins – The Home Opener

I feel like that roadtrip taught us a little something about the '23 Twins - they should beat bad teams, but good pitching is going to stop them. If only they had a guy like Arraez who could consistently make contact no matter who he's facing...

But today we get the home opener, and maybe Spring is finally here? And the sun is out! And the Sonny is out too, since he's our starting pitcher. These are all good things, right? It's a good Friday!

Alright, I have to get back to work. Go Twins.
