How many times have I told you: when the pot is empty, make a new batch???!!!?!!?!!!1111!

Fourteen years is a long time. A bad day to be sure, but the earth has continued to rotate and revolve all the same.

My Dad always says on the Fourth of July that the summer is "half shot". That's ridiculous, of course, school's been out for less than a month and it doesn't start for more than two months. But, I can tell you that as of today, 2015 is half shot. And what a long half year it was (leap second added last night).

35 years ago today, my grandfather was killed in a car accident. It was a stunning, awful day. Those awful days happen every once in a while. I always remember him on this day, but here's the thing: I barely remember him anymore. The memories that I had, that were so vivid back then, have all faded, replaced now by attributes.

What LeBron is doing in this series is all you can ask for. To say it is not enough is to not understand. True, Golden State won last night and was the better team. The not enough part was from the other guys in Cleveland.

Another dreary, windy day. There have been a few good days, but overall this has been a Goat's Head Soup kind of spring.

As I mentioned yesterday, it's been ten years (today!) since I graduated from law school. You know what that means. Shortly thereafter, I started to study for the bar and the stress/boredom of that compelled me to start a blog. Yep, the ten year anniversary of the various incarnations of this site/community is coming up. (The actual ten year anniversary is July 17th.)

Apart from the warm weather, my favorite part of this time of year is the early morning sunshine.

That damned NBA draft: rigged to shovel another top draft pick to Cleveland to make up for their loss of LBJ. I can't wait for when the T-Wolves are similarly compensated for their loss of Kevin Love.

If the Gophers are playing the Whioux in hockey, I'm an unabashed Gopher fan. Now, I'm back to indifferent.
