Initially I accidentally typed "Aprile" instead of April, and decided it might be time to see The Sopranos again.

Well, I still saw a game at Target Field, and hung out with Dread Pirate for the seventh inning. Plus, I was one single short of a blackout in Twingo. Plus, today is my fifteen year anniversary of quitting smoking, if you allow for a pack's worth of cigarettes in that span (though none since 2009 or so).

The surprises in the most consequential month of my life continue, as I hear more and more about casting (I can't talk about any of it yet, but it's too much to wrap my head around) and I get more info about my role on the show as well as the pay I'll get, which may get me out of this day job sooner than later.

We shoot from July to September, apparently in North Carolina. So, I guess I'll be going there for the first time.

Some of the money transfer has started for the show I'm writing. Everything always has a chance of falling apart, but this sure seems real, and writer meetings have started.

My daughters still love hunting for the eggs I hide. I hope this doesn't change for a couple more years.

What an (amazing win/excruciating loss), eh? I wrote this while the game was still going on.
