Something I didn't see coming was that one day I'd receive coupons in the mail addressed to "Resident" for a local dispensary.

Yup, grandma is getting her payback with me trying to wake kids up in the morning these days.

Someone called my work phone trying to sell me propane and propane accessories (though they didn't use that exact wording).

I was reading a book for Rick and in it, a stinky situation arose. A character in that book used a clothespin to mitigate the circumstances. Rick asked what that thing was, and I realized that's a thing he will probably never see in real life. Likely to be many more of those to come.

Setting this up on Saturday morning because I'm hopefully asleep by the time it posts.

It's the company party tonight. Jane hadn't gone in years as we don't have any babysitters or grandparents in the vicinity. But last year we decided that Pete was old enough to at least supervise the situation himself. No one died, so we're giving them another shot. Same as last time, they'll be in a hotel across the street and can call if they need anything. We'll fill them up with junk food, video games, and movies, and hopefully peacefully enjoy a few hours to ourselves.

I mentioned we got the kids a Switch a bit ago. If you're unfamiliar, you can split the controller into two parts. The main idea is so two people can use them to play at the same time, but you can use both as one player. My kids have taken to splitting them, but just holding each piece at their side. I tried it once and was completely lost. Apparently I'm too conditioned to have both hands connected to one controller in front of me.

I brought this up a few days ago, the reason being is that my family loves ketchup and I largely forgo it. What is your level of ketchup enthusiasm?
