On days like yesterday, I wish I was on commission...though commission-based sales are part of what killed so much of the competition, I suppose.

It's consistently over 95-100 here now, and we're just not rich enough to keep it as cool as I'd like. Well, maybe I'll sweat off those pounds I've gained by getting lazy and eating fast food.

The local radio folk are asking - nay, begging - me to see Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles. I almost want to do it just to make them shut up. Almost.

Here's a hearty thanks to you for your support yesterday. I'm...not okay, really, but I'll get there. Nayasha was far too young to die and I'm not sure I've made sense of this yet, but being able to come here is a helpful thing after having to spend all night wandering around my workplace, reminded of my time with her all day.

A couple of months ago, my good friend from work, Nayasha, moved back home to New York. She died yesterday. I don't know why yet, but she's gone. I've lost a lot of young people in my workplaces over the years, but this one stings. I worked near her and no one else for about a full year and we never tired of one another.

This has been a hell of a stressful week, guys. Keep me afloat.

If I'm going to try to sleep, why does Netflix have to have Battle Royale sitting there, just begging me to see it again despite its clear flaws? Oh well.

By the end of the first round of the NBA and NHL playoffs, they start to feel like they've been going on for a while. These staggered schedules just grind things to a halt.

The 100+ temperatures day after day. That was why I can't stand this place.

I missed the game log intentionally yesterday so I could keep up my undefeated streak.
