My schedule works out so I have half of this eight-day stretch off. Been working on the app stuff. I wish I had more of the shameless self-promoter in me...I'm trying to find someone who fights those battles.

I've had my regular number of days off and everything, but between the girls being on a long vacation, our housesitting gig and my schedule, this is the first full day I'll have with my kids in our own house in about three weeks. Good thing we got it, too, since school starts in six days.

My thoughtful littlest girl saw a Twins jersey keychain in Minnesota and decided that I must have it. I missed them more than I knew.

My daughters get back tomorrow night. I'll be working, annoyingly enough, but even the couple of minutes I get when they come into the store is going to set me right.
