Today the other dog I'm housesitting was picked up by her owners, and the male has spent every second since then moping. Then my former roommate (the good one) called and mentioned that one of my cats spent the whole day walking around my empty room and meowing. These pets, they'll break your heart.

I was so excited to get here to my brother-in-law's place to take care of these dogs. The female immediately took a chomp out of my leg (legitimately, she drew blood). Bitch.

I spent yesterday with several drunken NFL fans at a bar. There was a conflict that saw an employee choke out a customer and drag him out by his legs, then get fired for overstepping his bounds (though the customer, who was yelling sexist and hateful epithets, had it coming and the place cheered his removal). I haven't had an average day here yet.

Last night I was stuck outside for a while when there was a bomb on my block, or the next block over (I never did get the final info on that). The situation was quashed quickly. I'm thinking we're on high terror alert right now.

I should have some sort of response on my script today or tomorrow, but in this business "today or tomorrow" might mean "2014."

This season is so bad, I'm almost excited for football.

These two at my house still won't stop fighting, and it's going to make my decision to move on from this house easy. They've been together for ten years and are still trying to figure out if they're right for each other. I've known them for three weeks and I'm dead certain the answer is no. I probably shouldn't say anything, but damn, I could save them from wasting more time.
