Holy Cats, these folks make a lot of noise, but the competing elements are glued together by Teal Gardner's voice. I wasn't a huge fan of their initial release, but their newest album The Trusted Language is excellent.

Chromatics – Lady

It's my week at the controls, for better or worse. I figure that we will start the week on a bit more of a subdued note. This is my favorite song from the most recent Chromatics album, Kill for Love. Their music always reminds me of the haze that rolls around in your brain when you're up late at night (which I love) or when you're up early in the morning (which I loathe).
Seeing as most Monday mornings are lost in this haze, I figured this would be a fitting way to kick off the week. I hope you enjoy.
Angel Olsen – Miranda
angel olsen (AKA "angela babbler") softly crooning/caterwauling in a brooklyn bakery. i've been enjoying her debut, and i can think of a few of other citizens that might too.
Jessie Ware – Taking In Water
some britsy pop-soul, or something. however you'd like to describe it.
one, i like using that tag, and two, while sampleboy over there might not truly deserve it: you push buttons. act like you've been there.
Grimes – Oblivion
#1 on pitchfork's Top 100 Tracks of 2012 list.

dunno, if this and "pyramids" are the final two choices, i gotta go with the latter.
Lianne La Havas – Is Your Love Big Enough?
okay, so i might have swooned a little over this one.
