my friend's band came into town over the weekend (and i'd play them if they had a decent-ish video available). traveling with them was black diet (formerly JT and the sloppy seconds), who put on an amazing set. they're playing all over the cities, and i HIGHLY recommend checking out a show if you get a chance.

Loading... The local hip-hop scene is quite prolific, with an ever-increasing number of artists. Atmosphere is at the top of my list mostly because of their melodies, accessibility and style. Imagine my surprise to find them performing in London while I was studying abroad there in 2009. Even more fortuitous, the club was 2 blocks from the student housing I was staying in!
