If we're going to go pumpkins, I feel like we need to go Nirvana.
No hip-hop fans, eh? We'll go back to the usual formula then.
Nashville based Alicia Bognanno is showcased here in another female fronted SXSW performance, though with a little more oomph than our last one.

I figure I'll finish off my duties with something that rocks a little harder. I love these ladies and I really, really love this song. Thanks for having me!

That chick from Portlandia is doing music now? Man, she can rock your face off too!?!? Awesome. And this cut comes from y'alls backyard.

I don't know how long it's been since we played some T. Rex, but it's that kind of day. Yeah, baby.

OMG. OMG. Seriously you guys. OMG. (I'm on a wave trying to recapture some of my youthful punk attitude) OMG. (Also, some really intense rock n roll can be found from these two on the youtubs, not very live though.)

Spooky, and scary.

The xx have a new album out, but this isn't one of the new tracks. I really, really wanted to like these guys, but I just couldn't get into them. Maybe the new record will do it for me.

This is not a great clip of these wild, wild Nashville dudes. I saw them open for Jeff The Brotherhood last night, and was absolutely blown away. Their initial CD, Can I Live is out, and dirt cheap (and available on the new fad-tech cassette tape format). Support these guys, and if they're in town near you go and see them. Oh, and they're offering a free download at their band camp page.
