Double BOSOs!
Swarzak allowed the score to go from OSO territory 1-4 deficit to 1-5.
Perkins allowed the score to go from OSO territory 3-5 deficit to 3-8.
Terms for noobs:
OSO: Opposition Save Opportunity, when a new reliever brought in for the opposition would have a save opportunity.
BOSO: Blown Opposition Save Opportunity, when a teams' reliever allows a run that eliminates the OSO for the next half-inning. Like the Blown Save, it is awarded to the pitcher on the mound when the threshold run scores, not the pitcher who allowed the baserunner. Like every other game-decision stat (Win, Loss, Save, Hold, Blown Save), it does not matter if the runs are earned or unearned.
