Game summary:  Cibao scored four in the sixth to tie the game at four.  Alfredo Marte homered leading off the ninth to produce the game-winning run.

Oriente:  Alex Valdez (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4 with a home run and scored twice.  Nelson Perez (Cubs) was 1-for-2 with two walks and a three-run homer.

Cibao:  Moises Sierra (Toronto) hit a three-run homer.  Robinzon Diaz was 1-for-2 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one.

ESCOGIDO 9, ESTE 4 IN ESTE

TwinsPedro Florimon (Este) was 1-for-5.  Wilkin Ramirez (Este) was 0-for-3.

Game summary:  Escogido scored five in the first and was never threatened.

Escogido:  Daniel Corcino (Cincinnati) gave up one run on four hits and a walk in five innings.  Conor Jackson was 2-for-4 with a walk and a three-run homer.

Este:  Ricardo Nanita (Toronto) was 2-for-2.  Cesar Puello (Mets) was 1-for-2 with a double and a walk and scored twice.

AGUILAS 14, LICEY 1 IN LICEY

Game summary:  Aguilas scored seven runs in the first inning.

Aguilas:  Michael Bowden (Cubs) pitched seven innings, giving up one run on five hits and two walks.  Rafael Ynoa (Dodgers) was 3-for-5 with a grand slam.

Licey:  Erick Aybar (Angels) was 2-for-3 and scored once.  Freddy Dolsi worked 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing a hit and a walk.
