Twins:  Ray Olmedo (Oriente) was 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.  Drew Butera (Oriente) was 0-for-2.  Luis Perdomo (Aguilas) surrendered two runs on four hits and no walks in one inning.

Game summary:  Aguilas scored seven in the fourth and led 10-0 after seven.

Oriente:  Luis Jimenez (Angels) was 2-for-4 and scored once.  Carlos Colmenares was 2-for-5 and scored once.

Aguilas:  Dustin Richardson pitched five shutout innings, allowing three hits and a walk.  Manny Ramirez was 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

ESCOGIDO 6, ESTE 4 IN ESTE

Game summary:  It was tied at four after seven.  Escogido scored single runs in the eighth and ninth.

Escogido:  Starling Marte (Pittsburgh) was 3-for-4 with a home run, driving in four.  Jordany Valdespin (Mets) was 3-for-3 with a double and two walks and scored twice.

Este:  Ricardo Nanita (Toronto) was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and two RBIs.  Jose Ramirez (Cleveland) was 1-for-4 with a walk and scored twice.
