4. I like this inning so far. Deep counts, runs scored, patience. All good things.

5. I hope Jose didn't start warming up too early...

   1. That is a notable component of home-field advantage. The home starter knows exactly when he'll start pitching and can go straight from warmups to the game. The road pitcher doesn't. You have to do some guessing on when the bottom half of the inning will start.

      1. At the same time, I imagine delaying your first pitch because your team scored a bunch of runs for you is a low stress reason for having to guess.

   2. Didn't hurt him too badly in that first inning.

6. I kind of like this Tillman guy.

   1. Better enjoy him while you can. At ten pitches per out, he's not going to last long.

      1. Almost ten pitches per run too.

8. Really glad they bobbled that ball. It would have been pretty annoying for Kepler to double but no run scored because Dozier made a rather dumb baserunning decision.

       1. Looks like they did. So back to needing to win!

          I would have been shocked if they hadn't given him a hit since he hit it to the empty spot I don't think there was any chance to make that play with anything other than the ability to move as fast as a locomotive.

    Might not be his best stuff, but that's pretty tasty.

    1. I'll be hoping for some insurance runs depending on who comes in, though.

    1. According to Twins media, the only way to score runs is to get a hit with runners in scoring position.

       1. I mean, it was part of the story of the game, and I'm fine with Atteberry reporting it. But there's a difference between reporting it and constantly harping on it.
