Two home runs produced five sixth-inning runs, putting the Red Wings up 8-0.  Jaylin Davis was 3-for-4 with a home run (his eleventh), a walk, three runs, and four RBIs.  He is batting .343.  Zander Weil was 2-for-5 with two home runs (his sixteenth and seventeenth) and four RBIs.  Wilin Rosario was 2-for-5 with a double.  He is batting .303.  Nick Gordon was 2-for-5 with a double.  Drew Maggi was 1-for-3 with a three-run homer (his eighth) and two walks.  Devin Smeltzer struck out eight in six innings, giving up one run on three hits and two walks.  His ERA is 2.59.  The Red Wings are 46-48, tied for fourth, eight games back.

MONTGOMERY 6, PENSACOLA 2 IN PENSACOLA

The Kernels scored eight runs in the fourth to take an 11-4 lead.  Wander Javier was 4-for-6 with two home runs (his third and fourth) and six RBIs.  Spencer Steer was 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two runs, and two RBIs.  He is batting .375.  Alex Isola was 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs.  Gilberto Celestino was 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs.  Tyler Webb was 1-for-4 with a home run and a walk.  Gabe Snyder was 1-for-3 with a home run (his ninth), two walks, and two runs.  Alex Schick pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.  Nate Hadley struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits.  His ERA is zero.  The Kernels are 14-10, in fourth place, three games back.

A five-run seventh put the Cardinals up 7-0.  Albee Weiss was 2-for-4 with a home run (his ninth), a triple, two runs, and four RBIs.  Erik Cha struck out four in 3.2 innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk.  The E-Twins are 15-11, in first place, a half game ahead.

GCL RAYS 3, GCL TWINS 1 AT RAYS

The Rays scored one in the first and two in the third.  Parker Phillips was 2-for-4.  He is batting .351.  Keoni Cavaco was 2-for-5.  Petru Balan struck out two in two shutout innings.  His ERA is zero.  Evan Gillespie struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.  His ERA is zero.  The GCL Twins are 7-10, tied for fourth, 5.5 games back.

DSL YANKEES 9, DSL TWINS 5 AT YANKEES

The Yankees scored four in the fourth to take an 8-5 lead.  Nelson Roberto was 2-for-4.  Misael Urbina was 2-for-5 with a home run (his second) and two runs.  He is batting .300.  Miguel Angel Vallejo was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer.  Develson Aria pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out two.  The DSL Twins are 8-23, in eighth place, thirteen games back.
