Driving through Atlanta isn't fun, even if it wasn't raining. We'll wave at the super bowl gathering tomorrow as we drive by.
Overheard on the path during my backpack hike this morning:
"I really like babies, but not when they're yours."
(from BBC) Ms Suu Kyi is under house arrest, according to her lawyer. Police documents show she is accused of illegally importing and using communications equipment - walkie-talkies - at her home in the capital.
I'm shocked! Shocked!! But not surprised...

France dismantled Italy this morning (as expected), and Scotland is up on England right now (decidedly less expected).
Ireland @ Wales tomorrow.
At first I thought war had broken out, but I guess this must be a sporting event of some sort.
The first clue was France winning
This is the Six Nations, European rugby's annual top tier international tournament. And for my money rugby's top annual tournament (Sit down TriNations/Rugby Championship)
The first day of the Six Nations is lovingly referred to as Sixmas
The cold isnt terrible, but there are not enough layers to protect from that wind.
We were suffering so much the other day, we had to turn the air conditioning on.
Today I learned that you can lend others kindle books. If anyone is interested in Washington: A Life or John Adams, let me know.
