The Saints scored six runs in the eighth to overcome a 4-3 deficit.  Three singles loaded the bases, then came three bases-loaded walks, a two-run error, a walk, and a bases-loaded hit batsman.

Jake Cave was 3-for-6 with a double.
Jermaine Palacios was 2-for-5.
Mark Contreras was 1-for-4 with a home run (his fourth), two walks, two runs, and two RBIs.

Starter J. C. Ramirez struck out five in 3.2 innings, but allowed four runs on four hits and three walks.
Jake Petricka pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and two walks and striking out one.
Trevor Megill struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and one walk.
Tyler Bashlor pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk.
Yennier Cano struck out three in a two shutout innings, giving up one hit.

The Saints are 10-5, in third place in the International League West, a half game behind Nashville, 1.5 games behind Columbus.

MIDLAND 10, WICHITA 8 IN WICHITA

The Rock Hounds scored five in the second and never trailed.

Spencer Steer was 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs.
Alex Isola was 2-for-4.
Austin Martin was 2-for-4.
Dennis Ortega was 2-for-5 with a double.
Michael Helman was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer (his fourth), a walk, and two runs.

Starter Louie Varland pitched five innings, allowing six runs (three earned) on four hits and two walks and striking out four.
Austin Schulfer struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.

The Wind Surge is 7-6, in third place in the Texas League North, one game behind Arkansas, two games behind Tulsa.

PEORIA 8, CEDAR RAPIDS 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Christian Encarnacion-Strand was 2-for-5.

Starter Brent Headrick struck out five in 3.2 innings, but allowed three runs on three hits and four walks.
Miguel Rodriguez pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out two.
Tyler Palm struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and two walks.

The Kernels are 10-3, in first place in the Midwest League West, a half game ahead of Wisconsin.

DUNEDIN 2, FORT MYERS 1 IN DUNEDIN

Gabriel Martinez hit a two-run single in the ninth.

Noah Cardenas was 1-for-2 with a home run (his second) and a walk.

John Stankiewicz struck out nine in five shutout innings, giving up one hit and two walks.
Hunter McMahon pitched three shutout innings, giving up a walk and striking out one.

The Mighty Mussels are 9-4, in first place in the Florida State League North, one game ahead of Bradenton.
