I've had guitars lying around the house for years hoping the kids would pick one up to no success. Randomly, I picked one up and showed Pete a simplish song from the mid-90s, and to my shock, he hasn't stopped playing guitar for the past couple days. I'm hoping I've created a monster.

Nirvana – Heart-Shaped Box
Connected to today's CoC, a friend that knew how to play showed me how to play this song on a shitty guitar that was lying around our house, and that's how I started playing. I'm hoping the boy starts from such simple origins (though I have much nicer guitars lying around the house).
