On the plus side, the last week plus of games have all been winnable. The down side is not many of them have actually been won. 30 games left to decide whether the team actually makes the postseason.

2024 Game Log 132 – Barves at Twins
Yikes, Twins scuffling right when things getting dicey in the AL Central. The good news? Twins only 2.5 games behind the Guardians. The bad news? The Royals are only a game behind the Guards. Funny how that happens when a team (Royals) makes strategic moves at the trading deadline. Sure would be nice if the Twins picked themselves up and took the next two against Atlanta.
Simeon Woods Richardson vs. Spencer Schwellenbach which not only is a pitching match up with a lot of letters in their names, but a match up between two rookies who have pitched decently this year and could be on the cusp of decent MLB careers. SWR has been particularly good for the Twins and may have saved their season with how well he has done from the bottom of the rotation. Keep it up Simeon, Twins need a victory tonight!
First pitch at 6:40 and looks like the weather should hold off.
August 27, 2024: Last Gasp?
Temps are high here today, but from tomorrow, it looks like they're trending downward, perhaps for the season. We will see.
