That's how you beat the Astros: have a Cy Young winner lead your staff.
Both Sale and Verlander left off the Wild Card rosters.
And one of those is likely to win the other Cy Young this season.
I don't think I remember Hader going to the Astros. One more reason to root for the Tigers.
I stupidly signed up for the Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ Premium bundle thinking that would allow me to watch a game on ESPN. Eff MLB for not giving me the option to pay them directly to watch the postseason.
I really don't understand how they can continue to horribly screw this up. It's like they're still living in the Baseball/Hotdogs/Apple Pie days.
Money from broadcasters is about ten times more than direct streaming. MLB will never switch until there are no broadcasters left.
Since I can get Fox over the air for the World Series, I sign up for Sling's full package (orange and blue) and cancel after one month because I get the first month half off. Doing that once a year is enough for the trial discount to be available each time.
Manfred would prefer I gamble with the league’s partners than let my kid watch her favorite player in the postseason.
Or our parents, for that matter. "What's 'streaming'?"
Who had Tigers and Royals both winning on the road? Wow.
AL Central one of only two divisions undefeated in the post season so far
