Let me go boys, let me go boys. It's coming up threes boys, threes boys.

T. Rex – Cadillac
I'm not sure how long it's been since we played T. Rex, but it's been too long regardless.

Bouncing Souls – True Believers

Wooooaaaah I am a true believer. Way back when, my older bro and I saw the bouncing souls at Marty's Pizza in 'katoville. The good old days.
Ramona Falls – Russia
I haven't listened to these guys in awhile.

RIP Mr. Womack. I distinctly remember the first time I heard this song as I was in a movie theater watching Jackie Brown.

One more cut from the alt rock scene, and a big thanks to Nibbs for a stellar guest DJ week.
Starflyer 59 – No New Kinda Story
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-d63s6ImM4
We'll close out with another old favorite. Starflyer 59 started out as a straight up shoegaze band in 1993, but they they've morphed album by album from a sort of dream pop band to more of a "normal" indie pop/rock act. The lead singer, Jason martin, is the only constant within the band, with other members usually only staying for an album or two..
This song catches them in their middle, more dreamy phase.
Thanks for watching this week!

The Haxan Cloak – Excavation
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ4JvOc2xps
So, you guys aren't huge into squeaky voiced dudes singing about stepping on trumpets? That's cool.
We're going to cheat a little today. This is definitely a live video, but it's essentially a DJ set. Plus, the video has a very prepared vibe, but that fits with the song, so it works. This was one of my favorites from last year. I like the cold, blue lighting of this video, and the haze that wafts over the whole thing.
Shout out to Brooks' dark techno playlist on Spotify, which I've been going through over the past couple days, and will continue to plumb the depths of in the near future.
